Bold, beautiful, and glamorous…

These words describe what the House of Char is. 

The house of Char was founded by Char Jones, a young black trans woman, who had a vision to create a brand that truly embodies an elegant yet simplistic aesthetic. Char is a very creative and talented woman; she has dreams and goals as big as her hair! House of Char came to the owner while on the phone discussing business ideas. Jones’ good friend Monet reminded Char that “her brand should house everything she wanted to do”, and thus-House of Char was born. Our brand’s goal is to create an inclusive space and present accurate representation of the LGBTQ+ community. 

As a trans woman, Char wants to not only cultivate a name for herself, but to build a community for others with similar experiences to her. 

Trans is beautiful, that is what our brand will represent, periodt.
